Gwynt Y Mor Site, Mostyn Docks: Anti-Intruder Fencing

We have recently completed over a thousand metres of 2400mm high Part 10 anti-intruder fencing, 600m of 2100mm high fencing, 215m of timber screen fencing, together with a variety of other works at the new storage yard for the Gwynt y Mor site at Mostyn.

The Gwynt y Mor scheme will consist of 160 turbines off the North Wales Coast and is being built by RWE npower Renewables. We were one of the first contractors on site and the area to be enclosed initially seemed extremely large but as the scheme developed the scale and quantity of the turbines quickly made the site seem very small and compact!

Including all the additional works such as pedestrian management fencing, turnstiles, smoking shelters etc. we totalled over 1000 hours on site. This was all completed with no near misses and to the highest Health and Safety standards and levels.
