Tregarth Cycle Bridge: Access Safety Fencing

We were appointed by the main contactor Mulcair Ltd and the client Gwynedd council to help them provide a solution to achieving safe access, particularly for cyclists and horses to be guided onto the newly constructed bridge. The bridge links the Lon Las Ogwen path system and Lon Adda route.

The fencing needed to be a certain height, strong yet unobtrusive, not detracting from the bridge in providing the required safety. A mixture of diamond coring and baseplated posts to bolt down were used to fix the posts.

The scheme also included bollards, gates and signs. For more details:
